| Biography |
Dr Nancy Tsui graduated in Biochemistry and received her PhD in Chemical Pathology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She next pursued her postdoctoral training in the Department before being appointed as a Research Assistant Professor from 2008. During her PhD and postdoctoral training, Dr Tsui has been awarded the Best Research Output by Research Postgraduate Students from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Young Investigator Award from the Fourth International Conference on Circulating Nucleic Acids in Plasma and Serum, and the Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. |

Dr Tsui is actively involved in research on the biology and clinical applications of circulating fetal nucleic acids in the mother‘s blood. Her research interests include the development of new non-invasive prenatal diagnostic methods by utilizing circulating fetal DNA and RNA, and the investigation of the biological nature of circulating fetal RNA. |
